More Budapest photos

A shot down the street looking at a Basilica (in Budapest)

The Pest side of the Parliament...

Another angel of the Parliament...

The American Embassy in Budapest. Ironically, it seems like it was the only one that was so heavily fortressed (it was that way in Hamburg too when I was there).

So... I actually got more than 8 hours of sleep last night! Hooray! First time in awhile I've done that. (I still woke up a lot... but at least I felt rested). About lunchtime I went over to the Pet store to pick up some more dog food and a few treats for the dogs. Then later this afternoon I went to get my nails done (which took a long time today!). I also did some shopping and picked up a book - Lonely Planet's "1000 Ultimate Experiences." It looks like an interesting book. And I had to chuckle, one of the things in there was about the "chess playing" men at the Szechenyi Spa. I'm looking forward to reading through the book and seeing what I've done in the book and what I want to do that they may have listed.

I know I've had some "ultimate" experiences... Here are 10 (in no particular order)

1) Tandem Sky-diving in Florida

2) Joining the Barrow, AK Polar Bear Club

3) Seeing the Grand Canyon & taking a helicopter ride over it

4) Participating in a "Santa drop" to an Alaskan village above the Arctic Circle

5) Jumping off the Sky Tower in Auckland, NZ

6) Swimming with Sharks & Stingrays in Moorea & Bora Bora

7) Being at the top of the Eiffel Tower

8) Taking a mud volcano bath in Columbia, South America

9) Celebrating New Year's eve on the Bosphorus sea between Asia & Europe

10) Having my 3 wonderful daughters.

How's that for a start? *smiles*

Okay... time to sign off.

Auf Wiedersehen!
