Lazy Sunday

This was one of the guards at the Palace on the Buda side of Budapest. He would not crack a smile or look, no matter who stood next to him. There were several cute girls there when I was there and he didn't even look at them out of the corner of his eye! He was VERY tall (all the guards were!). I couldn't do his job... stand there all day, not moving. *Something* would itch or I'd sneeze or *something!*

SO... today *has* been a very lazy day. I've stayed in my sweats all day and napped off and on all day, although I did get up and I made a Chicken Ring for dinner (Pampered Chef recipe) and I made some party mix (Chex, cheerios, nuts, pretzels). That should last me awhile! It's been around 30* here today (at least it's not the 53* below they had in the Fairbanks area this morning! BRRRRR!).

Not a lot to write about. I'm tired today, but I think what's going on is that I am just tired of being sick. I did go online this weekend to try and get an appointment at the clinic, but couldn't get into the system. Guess I'll go in tomorrow and see if I can get an appointment. I've had a cold that has been hanging around for a month now. I'm not coughing as much as I was, and my sinuses aren't draining as much, but still, it is wearing me down. (Maybe I'm feeling like I need a sick leave, two of my co-workers were out Thursday and Friday for being sick... and even at my sickest, I didn't take off (because that's when we were in the middle of our move) and I'm feeling a tad jealous? I can't blame them if I don't take care of myself). I don't think they got what I have (one of them is the one that got locked into the bathroom the other day), because plenty of people around me *haven't* gotten sick.
