So, today I spent most of the day at the Szechenyi spa, it was awesome and I met a neat couple named Des & Judy for near Cork, Ireland. They had one part in one of the outdoor pools that had a circle around a spa, and the way the water jets worked, it would push you around the circle. Hard to describe, but it was fun! I tried several of the indoor pools and then treated myself to an hour long massage. Ahhhhh. Btw, it was only about 35* outside, so it was a little chilly running from of the outdoor pools to another, lol. I also got some great photos of Hero's Park. After the spa, I came back to the hotel and dropped my stuff off then headed back out. I wanted to go across the river to the Buda side. My friend David said it would be a great place to take a photo of the Parliament at night from. So, I took the Metro (which goes under the river!) over to the Buda side and took some great photos of the Parliament. I can't wait until I can get back to Stuttgart and share them with you here on my blog (I've been posting a few pics on my Facebook). I wanted some Hungarian food for dinner, so I found a small hole in the wall restaurant and got a wonderful sampler plate. I also had a desert pancake (what they call pancakes over here, we call crepes!).
After dinner I came back to the hotel. Now it's already almost 11pm, morning will come early! I'm going to get up in time for the hotel breakfast (this morning I slept too late & missed it!) and then the shuttle bus is supposed to pick me up at 9:30 am and I'll be winging my way back to Stuttgart, arriving in the early afternoon. I'm sure my doggies will be happy to see me!
