Tropical Flowers

I thought I would post some tropical flower pictures that I took yesterday down in Waikiki.
Aren't they pretty? It's a side benefit of living in paradise... getting the moments to stop along my path to smell, not necessarily the roses, but to enjoy the fragrance and beauty of all the flowers.
And I enjoy the moments to practice random acts of kindness, like meeting a stranger and helping them along their journey or showing them the way or having the opportunity to show them *my* Hawaii. Just like the other day, when that family off the cruise didn't know how to get to the Blow Hole. I could have just given them vague advice and sent them on their way, instead, I showed them the way. I guess I try to treat people the way I would want to be treated.
Okay... I'll leave the philosophizing to my middle daughter! *smiles*
Work went okay today, I took a quick break and went over and got some blood drawn to see how my levels are doing (checking Iron, Calcium and a few other things). I know that my CBC came back okay already, but I don't know about the others yet. I also had to pick up some prescriptions. I love my doc. I can email her and ask for refills or to check labs and it saves me a trip to her office.
I only saw 2 clients today, one woman who was under a LOT of stress, she's got her hands full with her two young kids and dealing with some marital issues. I just wanted to reach out and give her a hug. Hopefully I can get her hooked up to some resources and then see her at least every other week until things calm down for her. The other one was dealing with her own stressors. Other than that I tried to focus on paperwork, I didn't get as much done as I had liked to, but I think paperwork is a never-ending story. I did get a call from my youngest granddaugher, I always seem to miss her calls because she generally calls when I'm at work. But I called her back and left her a message to say that I love her too! *smiles* One of these days I'll catch her call when she calls me, or she'll answer when I call her.
I came home hoping that UPS had stopped by to deliver my new watch (new to me, I got it off of Ebay). But, there wasn't any notice anywhere that I could find and now it's after 8:30pm and they haven't shown up (UPS called yesterday to say that they would be delivering my watch today). I don't have a tracking number either. Guess I should email the person I bought it from and get the tracking number.
I'm going to sign off for tonight.
Aloha!

P.S. A special Aloha to my Ozzie friend! *you know who you are!*
