Whew!

This is a shot of the "Trump Tower" still under construction (behind the Lifeguard stand). Someone had asked me about it a few weeks ago, so thought I'd post a picture here. What doesn't show, is how tall it is compared to the other buildings around it.

So... another busy day. I got into work and one of my co-workers had called in sick, so I had to do the Orientation for group today. Then, in my rush, I had prepared for the wrong session, so I had to scramble after the Orientation to do the correct topic. Whoops! But, group went fine, there were 11 participants and a lot of discussion. I got done with group and got a call from a Pediatrician with concern about a family that I am dealing with, so I had to deal with that, then I got a call from a doctor at an Emergency Clinic about a young toddler with a broken Clavical and was concerned that it might be Child Abuse, so I spent most of my lunch dealing with that. After lunch I had an appointment with a new client. I was supposed to meet with a second client, but we rescheduled for tomorrow morning and I was able to spend the rest of the afternoon doing paperwork.

Tonight I watched some TV and surfed the web. I may have found a connection to an old friend. I had her daughter & son's name and googled them and found a "Facebook" for them. So, I emailed her daughter (who I believe is her daughter) and hopefully I will get an update about my friend (and find out she's still alive (she's older than me)).

And good news... I FOUND my work badge. Silly me... I had hidden it before I went on my vacation in case someone broke into my apartment while I was gone. I hid it too good and couldn't find it. I guess I needed my youngest daughter to help me. Whenever I would lose something while my girls were growing up, I could generally count on my youngest daughter to find it. I would call her my "ferret." *smiles* Anyway... I found it stuck in a corner of the closet in my spare bedroom in the purse I had used before going on my vacation. If I hadn't found it by tonight, I would have had to go get a new badge tomorrow, because I start my "on-call" tomorrow. So... the next week will be a tiring one.
Okay... time to sign off and head to bed.
Aloha!
